Nadal did it again!

Rafael Nadal secured his participation in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. The third in the scheme Spaniard recorded a second consecutive 3 sets victory in Melbourne against 203 cm South African Kevin Anderson with 7:5, 6:1, 6:4. The next opponent is the seventh in the scheme Tomas Berdych.

Rafa had problems only in the first set. He had to reflect to five break points in the 14th scheme rival at 5:5. The champion from 2009 took the part after the break. This was a decisive moment in the game. In the second and third sets, Nadal had control to the events on the court and finished the match without problems.

The Czech Berdych dashed the hopes of the home side of Bernard Tomic with 6:2, 7:6(3), 6:2, and despites the frantic moments of support from the stands.

Rafael Nadal has won the last 18 games against Tomas Berdych, so could hardly wish for a more convenient rival.
