The second placed at Wimbledon Roger Federer qualified for the semifinals of the Grand Slam tournament. Seven-times champion "All England Club" beat No12 Gilles Simon from France with 6:3, 7:5, 6:2 for 94 minutes straight playing time.
For Federer it is the tenth semi-final in London. An interesting fact is that he has never failed in this phase, but he has reached the final via tennis-picks game.
Federer took an excellent advantage as he sampled in the marathon second game and then solidified for 3:0. At that moment came pouring rain and the match was stopped.
