The expectations of Wilander for Australian Open

The "EuroSport" analyst Mats Wilander shared his expectations before the start of the Australian Open.

"This victory over Raonich in the finals of the tournament in Brisbane was very important for Federer. Roger needs to go in the first three or four rounds in three sets if he wants to have a chance in the match against Djokovic, Murray or Nadal. For me this is the key to success for him.

"I think Rafa can win any tournament in which he participates. If he participates - he is ready. He may not play in the best possible way, but he reminds Serena Williams - their confidence rises in the course of the tournament, match by match. Nadal in the first round of a Grand Slam tournament and in the semi-finals - we talk about different things.

"I am convinced that Andy Murray is in his best form. He was in this shape when he won the Olympic Games, US Open and Wimbledon. In that time he was more dangerous. On the other hand, he impressed me after the operation back. Incredible quickly bounced back. I am confident that he will make an excellent tournament and he waits for a several strong months of hard courts before the season on clay, "said Wilander.
