Azarenka is back!

Victoria Azarenka officially is back among the best in the world! Former No1 was with various injuries and missed most of the last season and is out of the Top 30 rankings, but now she reminds for
herself with a victory. Azarenka won with 6:4, 6:2 over Caroline Wozniacki in the match of the second round of the Australian Open.

Early in the match, Azarenka pulled with 3:0 games after effecting two breaks. Wozniacki levelled after the eighth game for 4:4. There was another break for the champion of 2012 and 2013 years, which this time did not flinch and with serve from her side closed the set with 6:4.

In the second part, Victoria made an early break, then another one and the final success with 6:2. After the last point, Azarenka delighted the audience with dance on the court.

Curiously, Azarenka hasn`t win over a competitor of the top 10 more than a year. "I`m happy that I can play again at this level. I tried to be focused and to take advantage of my opportunities," said Victoria.

In the third round, Azarenka will compete with Barbora Zahlavova Strycova from the Czech Republic.
